Allied Vision's FXO series delivers Sony Pregius S global-shutter sensors across four interface options: 10GigE, 25GigE, 100GigE, and CoaXPress-12. The 10GigE variant reaches 24.5 megapixels at up to 124 frames per second, housed in a thermally milled aluminum body built for industrial automation environments.
The sensor lineup spans pixel pitches from 2.74 to 9 micrometers, with the largest configuration reaching 24.6 megapixels on a 1.2-inch format using C/CS mount optics. The small pixel size allows high-resolution imaging with smaller, less expensive lenses, which matters for integrators assembling dense multi-camera inspection cells.
The 10GigE model supports Power over Ethernet and cable runs to 100 meters. With 1,024 MB of frame buffer and packet resend, it maintains transmission stability in larger networks. An integrated four-channel strobe controller, rated to 3 amperes, removes a discrete component from the installation. I/O covers TTL-24V with SafeTrigger, optical and electrical inputs, RS-232, and programmable sequencers and timers with what Allied Vision describes as PLC-like trigger logic. The housing operates to 60 degrees Celsius and qualifies for cleanroom use.
Allied Vision also lists FXO SWIR variants based on Sony SenSWIR sensors, covering 400 to 1,700 nanometers with two-point non-uniformity correction and a choice of CoaXPress-12 or 10GigE connectivity. Those models carry export control requirements. Allied Vision states that written documentation of intended use and final destination is required before purchase. Optional 32-gigabyte onboard data storage, accessible through the GenICam interface, is available across the platform for applications where edge buffering replaces continuous host-side recording.
SDK support spans Windows, Linux on x86 and ARM, and macOS, with GenTL and GenICam 3.0 compliance across the series.
